About Wildflowers
Wildflowers is an independent label started in Barcelona by Angela and Javier, a creative director and an artist, married, and doing everything themselves.
The name comes from a Dolly Parton song. The whole song is the story: not fitting the garden you came from, and finding that once you stop trying to, something else opens up.
We make things that live somewhere between fashion and art, in small runs, for people who love finding something a little rare and genuinely their own.
We make limited-run wearables and art objects shaped by a love of graphics, movement, and the spaces between things.
Genderless, handcrafted, limited runs.
For people who like the space in between art and fashion. Wildflowers exists because we wanted to create things and bring them into the world. As simple as that. Things that excite us, where we can express and explore our changing interests.
We love people who are true to themselves – whether that's because of a passion, a bit of weirdness, or just that they want to be playful with what they wear and aren't worried about conforming.
Our world has always been amongst artists and people on the outskirts. People who make or who challenge. Even when it's not easy. Some of the things we make push further than what we would even normally wear ourselves. It's a bit of a projection, perhaps, for two introverted artist types, but we like it that way.
